Macquarie University Health is seeking an experienced Lead MRI Radiographer to guide the day-to-day delivery of our MRI service and support the radiographers who provide it. This is a senior clinical role for an MRI professional who enjoys both complex scanning and the responsibility of helping a team work well together.
Our MRI service operates across three modern systems and supports a genuinely varied caseload, from outpatient and inpatient imaging through to protocol-driven research studies. You will work alongside radiologists, referring clinicians, researchers and students in an environment where clinical practice and research sit side by side.

The Role
Reporting within the Medical Imaging team, the Lead MRI Radiographer is responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of MRI services, and for the day-to-day leadership of a team of 5 medical imaging radiographers.
The role combines hands-on scanning with oversight of daily workflow and the development of the MRI radiography team, ensuring patients receive consistent, timely and compassionate care while supporting the research and teaching activity that defines Macquarie University Health.

You are an experienced MRI Radiographer with strong clinical expertise and demonstrated capability leading a small team, who thrives in a collaborative, innovative and academically integrated healthcare environment.
